President Biden (clueless Joe) and Dr.Fauci (gift to all of humanity, just ask him) addressed the peasants in their country in a presser yesterday about Omicron. It seems like there may be a change in tone, still a little too early to tell but the rhetoric was tempered a bit yesterday. Biden mused that the new variant is “a cause for concern,” but he said it was “not a cause for panic.” Surprisingly, he emphasized that the administration won’t be seeking any new limits on business, widespread lockdowns, or other restrictions to stop the spread, good news for now, but given it’s Biden he may not remember that he said this tomorrow.

When Dr.Fauci (AKA Mr. Science) appeared on interviews after yesterday’s press conference, he was asked if more U.S. restrictions were imminent. Dr. Fauci said, “I don’t think so at all.” How about that? Later, on CBS Morning, he said, “Let’s not be talking about lockdowns.” Could he finally be getting the message, it’s likely they’re both seeing quick pushback against the new narrative they were touting over the weekend.

Thankfully however, neither of them wasted the opportunity to peddle injections for the 80 million un-injected Americans, and to hawk boosters for everybody else. I know it doesn’t make sense to those of you who’re flat earthers, but in the alternate universe they live in, because the injections work so well it only makes sense to get boosters so you’re extra injected.
As mentioned above, at this moment it’s a remarkable about-face from the tone the two of them took over the weekend. Likely the “fear porn” polling numbers on Omicron must not have been what they expected across the demographics, which would explain the sudden shift.

Now for those of you still needing your fill of “fear porn” not to worry our friends in the media are working overtime to deliver. For example, Reuters ran a story headlined, “EXPLAINER-How worried should we be about the Omicron variant?”
They jumped over “WHETHER” right to “HOW WORRIED” we should be. Thankfully Reuters doesn’t require any of its readers to think for themselves, they basically do it for them in the headlines and stories. Silly you, not worried, why not?

In closing not sure what exactly changed between Saturday and Monday, but something seems to have. If I had to guess Omicron may not be the variant they’ve been searching for, the name simply isn’t menacing enough, or maybe folks are finally beginning to wake up to this “fear porn” and enough of them said, not buying what you’re selling!
