Well, the great one has sent out a proclamation to all his lowly subjects once again, Dr. Anthony Scrooge wants you to enforce personal vaccine passports during Christmas dinner. So only those who can produce a verifiable vaccine card, should be admitted to your home, if they can’t “bah hambug and no turkey for them, let them eat snow!”. In an MSNBC interview yesterday, he said:

EBENEZER FAUCI: “I mean, … let’s take the holiday setting. You’re with your family, you have grandparents and parents and children. When you get vaccinated and you have a vaccinated group and you’re in an indoor setting, you can enjoy, as we have traditionally over the years, dinners, and gatherings within the home with people who are vaccinated. That’s the reason why people should, if they invite people over their home, essentially ask and maybe require that people show evidence that they are vaccinated.”

Then Fauci admitted that to him, individual rights are really overrated and a silly old-fashioned notion:

EBENEZER FAUCI: “I would prefer, and we all would prefer that people would be voluntarily getting vaccinated, but if they’re not gonna do that, sometimes you’ve got to do things that are unpopular, but that clearly supersede individual choices…”

According to our modern-day Ebenezer, SO sorry about this, but sometimes you just must lay down the law and start rounding people up if they won’t get in line for their injections (1st, 2nd … 12th). You know, “supersede” them.

So, let’s fully understand what old Ebenezer is saying here, he has the gall to demand that independent, free thinking minded citizens hosting Christmas dinner, “Require that their guests/family show EVIDENCE they are vaccinated?” He wants to turn Christmas dinner into Christmas shaming, punishing those who disagree with him and his minions. We’ve already seen that he has delusions of grandeur (“attacking me is attacking science”), but now it seems like he thinks of himself as the modern-day version of Scrooge, not the one that is transformed by the end of the movie, but the one who has this exchange:

“At this festive season of the year, Mr. Scrooge,” said the gentleman, taking up a pen, “it is more than usually desirable that we should make some slight provision for the Poor and destitute, who suffer greatly at the present time. Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir.”

“Are there no prisons?” asked Scrooge.

“Plenty of prisons,” said the gentleman, laying down the pen again.

“And the Union workhouses?” demanded Scrooge. “Are they still in operation?”

“They are. Still,” returned the gentleman, “I wish I could say they were not.”

“The Treadmill and the Poor Law are in full vigour, then?” said Scrooge.

“Both very busy, sir.”

“Oh! I was afraid, from what you said at first, that something had occurred to stop them in their useful course,” said Scrooge. “I’m very glad to hear it.”

“Many can’t go there; and many would rather die.”

“If they would rather die,” said Scrooge, “they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population.”

I’m sure in Dr. Scrooge’s modern day retelling, you know the one in which he’s the hero, the “poor and destitute” are simply renamed the “deplorable and un-injected.”

I’m hoping that out of this latest statement by Anthony Scrooge will come two things, first off sane folks (the majority) won’t simply say NO to his edict, but HELL NO! Secondly, it’s my hope that for all of those who have deified this man, maybe now they will come to realize just how deranged he actually is. Maybe they’ll see that far from being a mastermind and competent enough to be the one in charge of all things COVID, he’s nowhere near as smart as he thinks and pretends to be, and the only thing he should be running is a lemonade stand, and quite frankly I’m not sure he’s up that either, as I’ve met some pretty smart 5 year olds.
