I’m so glad we have a media that’s committed to dispelling misinformation and getting at the truth no matter where it leads. Take Reuters for instance, they fact-checked the alarming jump in cardiac events in sports figures in 2021 and found that there was “no evidence” that the increased numbers of players collapsing on fields in various sports has anything to do with the injections. No evidence. Their conclusion? It’s a COINCIDENCE. Nothing to see here folks, keep moving on!

The news agency quoted an expert, Professor Sanjay Sharma, a leading sports cardiologist at St George’s University of London. Sharma said the jump in cardiac incidents during soccer games could be — you never know — just due to a “statistical cluster.” That’s a fancy way of saying it’s just a fluke. A random coincidence. A bit of bad luck, and all that, for all those athletes that comprised part of the “statistical cluster” Sort of like, you’re walking down the road, and there’s an open manhole cover right in front of you, and you keep on walking anyways, and fall in! Just a fluke it happened, who could have seen that coming.

I don’t know about a “statistical cluster,” but it’s a cluster all right. It’s super easy to find “no evidence” when you’re not really looking that hard for any. Now I’m not a super, duper journalist like the ones you find at Reuters, but if I was writing the story I would have run with the headline, “Don’t believe your lying eyes!” as it sums up the whole story!
