Unlike our fear mongering media, I like to report actual good news, for those of us wishing for this madness to end we received an early Corona Virus Christmas present. A new preprint study out of Hong Kong suggests that Omicron might be a variant that has evolved to reside OUT of the lungs, preferring instead to live primarily in the upper respiratory tract. According to the study, this would explain why it seems milder; if it stays out of the lungs, cases are a lot less serious and for all of us other than Dr. Bonnie Henry and our B.C. government, this would be terrific news.
The researchers found that, while Omicron replicates seventy (70) times faster than Delta in upper respiratory areas, it replicates ten (10) times SLOWER in lung tissue than Delta.
The study is titled, “HKUMed finds Omicron SARS-CoV-2 can infect faster and better than Delta in human bronchus but with less severe infection in lung.” If Omicron becomes dominant, the pandemic really COULD be over, much to the chagrin of the hysterical intellectual expert class!
All I can say is “Go Omicron!”

Yes our cowardly Prime Minister is at it again, in a recent speech and in an attempt to "memory hole" the facts, he now claims that he never mandated mass vaccinations for Canadians, but only incentivized them for doing so!
