The leader of Ireland’s lower house, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar, told his party leaders yesterday that it was time to wrap up the pandemic. “I think it’d be really good if we could set March 31 as our target for ending all legal restrictions, the legislation around masks and Covid passes and all the rest of it expires on March 31,” he told Irish lawmakers. He said that the Irish people have done all they can as a society and there should be a dividend for that. So lowly citizens, it’s not your fault after all you’ve done all you can, and we certainly know it’s not our fault as leaders, given that we’ve single handedly saved society as we know it So, we’re basically going to give you back, what was rightfully yours all along anyways, your freedoms! And in return, all we ask for is your “praise & worship!”

Varadkar spent most of his time explaining the costs and bad effects of Covid policies and lockdowns. Seems like in N 2.0, “critical thinking” is back in fashion. How do I know, he went on to say this, “I think about a particularly negative impact on younger people, and young adults who haven’t had a normal youth,” he said. Ireland has been particularly strict in the lockdowns.

So there you have it, in summary, you can have your freedoms back, we as leaders did an amazing job so turn around and take the “pitchforks” home and let’s all try to forget all of this “covid nonsense” by the time the next election rolls around!
