I have read the most recent update on easing of COVID-19 restrictions in this province.

While I appreciate that some businesses can re-open, indoor events and other businesses can now operate at full capacity, and limits to household gatherings have been eased, there is much more that can and should be done.

Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Alberta have all committed to ending all passports and mandates within their provinces, and other provinces such as Ontario and Newfoundland have also stated publicly that they will be planning to end all these passports and mandates soon as well.

Other countries in the world such as the United States, Britain, Ireland, Japan, and many European countries, are also lifting all restrictions, mandates and passports, as they have been following the science and responding to the truth.

We have witnessed recently that COVID-19 has affected both the vaccinated and the vaccine-free; it is a contagion which has proven to be transmitted to everyone, regardless of vaccination status and also regardless of the quantity of injections received.

We must learn to accept COVID-19 as a virus which cannot be eradicated (like the flu), but rather, dealt with through early and ongoing treatment. And return to the upholding of our sacrosanct Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, without haste, for the benefit of our province, country and its citizens.
