Don’t miss the significance of this story. In involves CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, who gave a talk last weekend at Washington University in St. Louis and said some remarkable things about “the science.”

“Um, and then the other thing I’ll say is this area of ‘grey.’ I have frequently said, um, you know, we’re going to lead with the science, science is going to be the foundation of everything we do, that is entirely true. I think the public heard that as, ‘science is foolproof, science is black and white, science is immediate and we are going to get the answer and, you know, make the decision based on the answer.’
But the truth is, science is grey. Science is not always immediate. Sometimes it takes months and years to actually find out THE answer. But you have to, you know, make decisions in a pandemic before you have that answer.”

It’s all grey, is it? You mean that Science isn’t Dr. Fauci, science IS GREY! So we don’t follow the science but follow the grey science! That’s odd because of the past two years all I’ve heard “the experts” say is that the science was settled. I’m guessing they were simply misspeaking all this time, right? And did I hear you correctly Rochelle, we have to make decisions BEFORE we have the answers! Boy that makes me feel so much better knowing that really science is making decisions without answers, saves a ton of time right, plus given it takes YEARS to get the answers, why bother? Sounds like a philosophy right out of a sales motivation class, you know, “fake it till you make it” but in this case why even bother making it. So like, science isn’t like precise you know, so not our fault if we don’t get it right the first, second, third …100th time. No harm no foul right?

Now everyone whose had their doubts along the way have jumped all over these comments as evidence of more goalpost-shifting and narrative contorting. If there’s one thing about these folks that’s consistent, they always like to float these trial balloons before they drop a bomb, so when it finally drops, they can shrug their shoulders and dodge responsibility. The next Pfizer data dump is coming shortly because of the lawsuits, and if there’s anyone who knows what’s about to drop it’s Walensky. And if there’s one thing that folks do on a sinking ship, it’s head for the lifeboats and push anyone in their way overboard. Now that I think about it, I’ve not heard much from the weasel Fauci lately, huh,
