In case you missed it, MSN ran an article Thursday headlined, “The White House Is Briefing TikTok Stars About the War in Ukraine.” Not sure about you, but I’m going to sleep much better at night knowing that Tik Tok diplomats are on the job. Look out Putin.

The article reports that on Thursday, National Security Council staffers and White House press secretary Jen Psaki personally briefed “30 top TikTok stars” on a Zoom call, providing them with “key information about the war unfolding in Ukraine.” Go ahead and pinch yourselves, you’re not dreaming and no it’s not April 1st, and this isn’t a joke. This story is very real as it was widely reported.

MSN said peppermint Patty aka Jen Psaki briefed the social media influencers about the United States’ strategic goals and answered influencers’ questions. I wonder if they’ll all get matching spandex onesies, with something cool like “TNT”, you know Tik Nuclear Tok.

Well, I know if I was Putin, I’d be pretty freaking impressed by this 4th dimensional chess being played by Dementia Joe, simply genius sharing the United States strategic goals, with TikTok stars. Who else would have thought of this, not Trump!

An article in The Washington Post this week said that TikTok announced that, under pressure from U.S. and Ukrainian officials, it would begin adding warning labels about misinformation to Russian TikTok accounts and canceling offenders. “We continue to respond to the war in Ukraine with increased safety and security resources to detect emerging threats and remove harmful misinformation and other violations of our Community Guidelines,” TikTok spokeswoman Jamie Favazza said in a statement. Got it Russians, no misinformation, only we’re allowed to post that.

You may recall that in 2020, President Trump tried to shut down TikTok over concerns about Chinese communist espionage and propaganda. But on his first day in office, Biden revoked President Trump’s TikTok ban, why, duh, because it was Trumps idea and everyone knows you just do the opposite of Trump. Thanks to Joe’s brilliant leadership, TikTok has been happily streaming along ever since.

In closing I would prefer that the government just completely stay out of the “influence” business AKA propagandizing, I don’t need a bunch of dim-witted “Tik Tok stars” to sell me political ideology, especially when the only thing most of them knew about Russia up until a few seconds ago was the Vodka. Just give me the facts as I can draw my own conclusion, thank you very much. We don’t need the government to tell us what to THINK. Judging by the past two years, hammering citizens with propaganda daily hasn’t worked out too well, it’s only divided them from one and other as well as their leaders. But then again why should that come as any surprise, when government wields the propaganda hammer all they see are nails.
