In case you missed it, the Croatian National Tourist Office announced just over a week ago in a short statement: “This is to inform you that from 1 May 2022, Croatia has dropped all Covid-19 entry requirements. All travelers entering Croatia can now do so under the same conditions of entry that were in force before the Covid-19 pandemic, i.e. with valid travel documents.”
Now of course this announcement got me to wondering why the Croatian national tourist office would do this, while in Canada one must be vaccinated just to board a plane still even within Canada. At first I thought maybe they’ve got a different kind of Covid in Europe than we do in Canada, but then I ran across this quote:
“O beautiful, o beloved, o sweet freedom, God has given us all the treasures in you, you are the true source of all our glory, you are the only decoration of this Dubrava. All silver, all gold, all human lives cannot repay your pure beauty!”
Written by Ivan Gundulić, author of the play Dubravka. This is considered Dubrovnik’s “unofficial motto” and then I realized oh yeah, unlike the elected civil servants in Canada, Croatian one’s value Freedom!

Yes our cowardly Prime Minister is at it again, in a recent speech and in an attempt to "memory hole" the facts, he now claims that he never mandated mass vaccinations for Canadians, but only incentivized them for doing so!
